4 Tips for Submitting Guest Posts to Top Blogs

Guest posting leverages your blog to the hilt.

Imagine writing and placing a guest post for a blogger like Darren Rowse at Pro Blogger?

You’d expose your blog and brand to his 300,000 member community. Crazy traffic and list-building potential there.

Highly Recommended: Guest Post- 4 Reasons why you need to start writing it

Standing out enough to land a guestie on a top blog requires you to move into persistent, effective actions.

If you put in the work over months and years you can land on virtually any blog in the world.

Guest-Posts

I have placed guest posts on Pro Blogger, Positively Positive, The Huffington Post and Life Hack among other famous blogs by following these tips.

1: Write 1000 Words Daily for Practice

This is the simplest tip to become a prolific guest poster on top blogs.

Open a Word document. Write 1000 words daily. Trash the Word document.

 Following this simple practice:

 ● Improves your writing skills
● Increases your writing confidence
● Allows you to find your writing voice
● Helps you to stand out enough to be featured on famous blogs

This is a straightforward, clear tip, which is the most important tip on this list. Unfortunately, most bloggers only write if they have a post to publish, making a huge mistake.

How can you impress top bloggers if you only write when you publish a new post, when I am writing 1000 to 5000 words daily, or more? I hone my skills so I own my skills and my persistent practice lands me guest posts on world-renowned blogs.

2: Build Friendships with Top Bloggers by Serving Them

 Serve top bloggers.

Don’t ask top bloggers if you can place guest posts on their blog.

Ask how you can help them.

Be generous.Comment on top blogs effectively, publishing 3-4 paragraph, personalized comments to build friendships.Promote bloggers on social media. Feature bloggers on your blog.

Patiently help successful bloggers to befriend these blogging big dawgs. Some of your blogging buddies – if you persistently follow step #1 – will invite you to guest post on their blogs.

I have only pitched about 5 bloggers out of the 1000 plus guest posts I have placed online. Virtually all guest posting opportunities flowed my way via invites, without me ever reaching out to the blogger to pitch them.

This is attraction marketing in action. Help bloggers. Bloggers help you in return.

3: Follow Top Blogs to Match the Brand Voice

 Follow top blogs.

 Read the posts.

Get a feel for the specific writing voice.

Match the voice with your guest post.

Talented but lazy researchers fall flat in this department. Ego deludes them into believing they can write the post in their voice and place it. This strategy works okay for less popular blogs but world renowned blogs and brands have a clear, distinctive voice you need to understand and mimic to place a guest post on a top blog.

I read posts from top blogs for 1-2 months before submitting a guest post to said blogs. This ensures that I can match the brand voice, whether compassionate, biting, humorous, or serious.

 4: Be Patient

This is not a robotic, linear process.

Follow steps 1-3 over months and years to land guest spots on top blogs.

I had to practice writing daily for years before I became skilled enough and clear enough to land a guest post on the 2.5 million reader community at Positively Positive.

You land on top blogs not by luck, or by some cosmic accident, but by persistently practicing your writing and building friendships with top bloggers.

Most bloggers skip writing practice or networking, which is why most bloggers struggle to land features on top blogs.

3 Key Concepts for Content Marketing for Profit

Everyone wants to write great articles, you know the type, the ones that generate plenty of traffic. The best content marketing has valuable content, with high-result keywords, and amazing, compelling calls to action. But how does that make you profit?

When you drive your traffic to a specific site, or page, the page can market to a highly-targeted niche. Those wonderful, lovely people who read what you write in content, will most likely be interested in whatever you’re selling too. That is… If what you write relates to what you sell.

Content-Marketing-for-Profit

1 – Write Quality Fun to Read Content

The better you write, the better your audience will read what you write. If you need ideas for what to write, look no further than what you like to read. You’re probably a good example of your own marketing niche. What do you like to read?

A mystery novel may not be proper or appropriate for some marketing types, but why not be creative and add some mystery to your content?

If it wasn’t all done on a dark and stormy night… perhaps you were inspired by the threatening clouds of gray skies and some odd noise being sparked in the night skies… Creative content goes a long way toward drawing in your target market.

2 – Focus on Keywords but Write for Real People

More often than you’d ever suspect, I get a message from a guest blogger offering to write a blog for me and the blog they send is so filled to the brim and overflowing with keywords, that it is unreadable. Write for real people. Keep it real. Like, occasionally include a story that’s more than one line long. And tell them what you really think. It’s okay to rant a little.

It makes people think you trust them when you tell them how you really feel. So, tell them. Be transparent. Then back it up with some accountability. And for reals… Give them something to sink their teeth into.

One of my favorite bloggers actually lets her hair down now and then, to let her readers see her in jammy pants and a tank top with no bra. She’s REAL. That’s what readers want to see, real people on the other side of the pen.

3 – Function Verses Concept is a Content Marketers Dream

Do you know who reads what you write? That question came up today in an online conference, and I realized that I have an exact replica of who reads what I write looking back at me every morning in the mirror. That’s what happens when you realize you’re writing for people who are just like you – except you figured it out… They’re still working on it. They need the solutions you offer and they’ll buy them, if you give them a solution they can recognize as VALUE.

Readers are smart. They’re not buying something that has no value. So move beyond the concept of having a solution to offering a functional solution that fills the need. Answer their questions in your content, don’t just tell them you’re going to. Do it.

Give them a functional response instead of a conceptual idea that you might know what you’re talking about. Get real. Give them VALUE.

HOW TO RANK HIGH IN GOOGLE SEARCH -2015 DISCOVERY

A very good day to you out there allbloggingcoach readers, bringing yet another value added post is always our pride on this great blog. Though, it’s been a while we update the blog but these are reasons we will let you know subsequently. But I bet you, it’s for the benefit of our readers and our loyal subscribers.

Get Quality Traffic HERE For 30day

RANK- HIGH- IN- GOOGLE- SEARCH

During the course of been away for a while, I learnt so many things and part of which I’m about to share with you. Ranking high in Google has been the prior of all webmasters and bloggers. There is always that joy when a friend of yours called you to tell you that he/she saw your blog among the first 10 searches on the web.

Therefore, have you searched so much on how to rank high in Google search and you couldn’t get? Then you are on the right blog. Like seriously I won’t be taking much of your time, we’ll just go straight to “ranking high in Google” and also part of what we’ll be discussing will be on submission of your blogs to search engines, and you can open this on another tab HERE. Ranking high in Google search doesn’t take much process when done appropriately. So therefore, sit back and enjoy the ride.

HOW TO RANK HIGH IN GOOGLE SEARCH

The first we’ll be talking about here is:

  1. DO YOUR KEYWORD RESEARCH

There is no escape route to this. If you want to get ranked on google search by readers or surfers, then you need to make use of keywords because these are guidelines to what people wants on the internet.

Perhaps there was a time a write out of inspiration like I’m doing, but I bet you its keyword tight. The simple truth is that when you write posts without keywords, people can only see you when you share on social medias, but might take a very long time for Google to recognize it and fixed it as a keyword to the blog.

I never said writing with inspiration is bad, but I’m only trying to say that when you get that inspirational “post tittle”, like I often do, try and use GOOGLE KEYWORD PLANNER and see if people also search keywords like that, and if Google keyword planner could not find the word, it will automatically give you related keyword and which invariably mean that is what people search for.

  2. FIX YOUR KEYWORDS SMARTLY IN YOUR POST

“Smile”. Are you aware that it’s not just about using keywords, but about how well you fix them to the post you want to publish.

There was a time I was having serious issues with getting ranked on my blog, then I discussed with a blogger friend, and he told me this I’m about to put down.

I believe this is applicable to all platform of blogging anyway, but for those that use blogger blog; here this. For you to rank high in google search, then you need to make your keywords appear in the following section of your post.

a. Your keyword should appear in the post tittle

b. The first paragraph of the post, and at least 3-5 keywords and also bolded.
 c. Your permalink should also have your keyword. If you don’t know what permalinks is, then read it HERE.
d. There is always a description box that appears with your post title in google search.

Your keyword for that particular post must also reflect in there before you publish.

Whoa! I heard someone said?

3. SUBMIT YOUR BLOG TO SEARCH ENGINES

Do you have to wait for Google crawlers to come over to your blog before you get notice by surfers? Hell NO. The fastest way to submit your blog/post to Google is found HERE.

Do you know millions of people publish every day and only few of them knew that one can submit his/her post to Google in less than 1 minute. The beauty of ranking high is Google search is for you to get your post index very fast on Google.

At times it takes more than 3 days before Google could index one’s post, and we aren’t patient to that extent because we want our post to be ranked in Google search.

  4. SHARE ON BLOG COMMUNITIES/DIRECTORIES

This two means I mention above has been given a strong mandate to activate post indexing and generate serious traffic to a blog. Blog communities like Blog engage, dosplash, bizsugar etc.

To my best of ability, I think I joined up to 30 blog communities that I always share my post immediately I publish the articles. Sharing on blog community not only give your blog visibility, but also get noticed and also traffic will be added.

  5. SHARE YOUR POST ON SOCIAL MEDIAS

Believe it or not, social media has proven to be a huge success when it comes to blog visibility and traffic.

NB: do you know that the amount of traffic a post generates also determine how high is ranked on Google? That’s a hint anyway.

A very good deal to do when you share on social media is to use harsh tag with your keywords and share on many groups.

There is no doubt; this post has helped you a lot. I believe this above points has really gone a long way to solve your challenges with ranking your post high in Google search.

Please before you leave this page, kindly share this post with your friends and followers on Facebook and on other social Medias. Also don’t forget to subscribe to our daily update. YOU ARE THE BEST.

How to Create Custom Blogger blog Permalink

Hello ABC readers, how are you doing? I brought a very interesting blog post for your today, though it was requested by a reader but I found out that with the updated information I’ve gotten on this particular topic, it will certainly benefit every blogger.

blogger-custom-permalink

For a while now, I guess bloggers have become mute on SEO and most especially for blogger blogs. Everybody now talks about wordpress. From the research I did earlier this week, I still found out that the percentages at which people open new blogs on blogger platform is more than wordpress. So what are we now saying?

Also see: How to Optimize your blog title with H2 tag

Today a brought a topic that all bloggers think they know well about, but with the update I added, you need to read this. Blogger permalink is a very good means of ranking your keyword high, yes or yes? If you set your targeted keywords well, you’ll surely drive a massive traffic. Though, before we move ahead and learn how to use it for better SEO of your Blogger blog, let’s learn more about Permalink:

What are custom Permalink?

Talking from BlogSpot blog’s perceptive, this is a situation whereby you set your targeted keywords in a Google link subway. See one example below.

Here is an example of normal Permalink vs Custom permalink:

In the second example, I’ll like to talk more on Keyword Blogger Custom permalink, and that’s why I removed all other Keywords. Simple but very effective right?

blogger-custom-permalink

Before blogger got advanced, we had no means to configure/customize the Blogger permalink ,but in recent SEO addition, Blogger team make way for the availability of configuring permalink in BlogSpot blog. Unlike WordPress, where the permalink can be controlled on the site wide i.e. for all other posts.

How to set Blogger Permalink for better SEO

When the need arises for you to set the blogger permalink for individual blog post, all you need to do is to do away with URL that breaks in Google search, and use keywords in your permalink. You can target short-tail or long-tail Keywords, depending upon which Keyword you are targeting.

Now, when you write a Blog post in Blogger blog, just try and locate Permalink option, click on it, select custom URL and add your permalink there. I know for newbie, it may sounds like Arabic speech to add your own permalink, but I’ll expanciate more on it.

When you write a new blog post on your blog, and for example your title is How to customize your blogger blog permalink, by default BlogSpot will make a permalink like

http://domain.blogspot.com/yy/mm/how-to-customise-your-blogger-blog-permalink.html

Instead of you to use such long Permalink, you will simply add Blogger-custom-permalink or custom-permalink in custom URL. Remember, your Keywords are separated by ‘-‘(Dash).

If you need more information on the same, check out this video by Matt Cutts:

Note: Another thing, which you should keep in mind, don’t change your permalink after publishing an article (on any platform), unless you can set a 301 redirection or you’ll keep having error 301.

Over to You

If you still have any question in your mind regarding how to set custom permalink In blogger blogs, do let me know via comments and I will love to answer it.

Don’t leave this post without sharing it with you friends and followers on social media. And also out mail list is still wide open for those who wants to subscribe. Thanks for your time.

How to add Meta Description in your Blogger blog

Meta description is a very important and crucial part of one’s blog composition for search engine optimization SEO. These Meta tags are commonly located in the header of our website that is always invisible to users visiting the site.

meta-description

Well, to be more succinct, these tags have only one purpose: to include information about the page such as author’s name, date, keyword, description, title, among others. That’s just what the Meta tag does.

Google bots also like to read Meta tags of a site or blog and give these tags (title, keywords and description) information to Google search engine about the blog. According to these tags, your blog is shown in Google search engine results pages (SERP’s) as to what you’ve already inputted in the head section of what your blog is all about.

What is Meta Description?

Meta description in a simple term is an HTML or XML element that shows the description of a web page to the search engine crawlers. It tells the information about your web page to crawlers so that search engines may provide your web pages in search results for a particular keyword.

How to Add Meta Description to every post in Blogger

If you look at your blogger settings very well, you’ll notice that by default the Meta description setting is disabled so we’ll need to enable it so that it can start working perfectly well.

The first section shows how to enable the Meta description for your blog homepage only and the last section will show you how to set meta tags for every of your post.

Simply follow the steps below.

 • Go To Blogger >> Settings >> Search Preferences

• Look For Meta Tags Section and Tick “Yes” To Enable It.

 • Now a box will appear where you have to write your Meta tag or description. Make sure that it doesn’t exist 150 characters.

meta-description

 Click Save Changes!

Note: if you are using a custom template for your blog then you should sit tight and read this. Most often it’s always very impossible for Meta tags to work on custom template, but if you are using the normal blogger default, then you are good to go.

Now for you to make the Meta tags work properly on custom template, you need to insert a short XML code into your blog template.

 Just follow the steps below.

• Go To Blogger >> Template >> Edit HTML

Search For <head> and Paste The Following Code Below <head>

<b:if cond=’data:blog.metaDescription != &quot;&quot;’>
<meta expr:content=’data:blog.metaDescription’ name=’description’/>
</b:if>

 • Save Your Template and You have successfully added Meta tags for homepage.

• Now let’s jump to next step.

How to add Meta Tags to every post.

It’s straight forward, after you have enabled the homepage’s Meta tag, the next thing for you to do is to move to the post editor or create new post.

You will see “search description” section by the right hand corner of the side bar, simply write the description of the post. This search description was initially disabled, but after enabling the homepages’ it will automatically enable for every of the post and pages.

Below is a diagrammatically representation of how you will go about it.

meta-description

Over to you

Dear friends, this is just a simple way to set your blogger Meta description. It is easier than what people thought. If you follow the discussed steps, you’ll find it very easy. Thanks for stay tune and been patient.

Remember to subscribe for the next update, I’m trying to go back to the basic of blogging seo which I believe will benefit those who are not in blogging niche and most especially the new bloggers.

How to Make Your AdSense ads Display on Blogger Mobile View

It’s no secret again that the way at which people exploits the web with the use of smartphones is so high. Around 2011, the blogger team decided that it’s high time they introduced a new mobile template. It was as if they’ve seen a new revolution of surfing the web with mobile phones.

blogger-mobile-view

It is not just about installing the launched mobile template, but ability to show your Ads units on the mobile view which invariably will generate a lot of conversion for you, since lots of people are using smartphones.

Lately lots of people have been asking me how I did my mobile view that my ads were showing. So I decided to make it a call, since many people have been asking, and I’ve decided to write a post on it.

This method of AdSense showing on the mobile is actually in two phases, I will discuss one now and share the second in the next post. Therefore make yourself available by subscribing to my daily updates so that you can get the next update

The two methods are thus listed below:

  1. How to display Google AdSense on blogger mobile view (Google AdSense account)

 2. How to make AdSense ads display on blogger mobile side bars.

Don’t be scared, the two methods are almost the same, but just a little modification. This difference is what I researched on over the week and later got to the conclusion.

Now sit tight and let dive into tutorial right away.

To get started, you must first optimize your blog for mobile view. I have two posts already on that; you can check them if you’re yet to optimize your blog for mobile view.

How to optimize your blog for mobile view

How to make your blogger blogs compatible with mobile phones

Now that you’ve optimized your blog and make it compatible with blogger mobile view, then you can proceed with these steps.

 1. Click on “Template” from the left side of your blogger dashboard, and then click on the settings button below the mobile template as shown in the diagram below.

blogger-template

2. Then you click “yes” and save the settings. After saving, the mobile ads will start showing on your blog mobile view.

But Note: these two setting will only work on 2 conditions,

1. If you have added, at least one or more ad units using the AdSense gadget.

2. Then two, you must have configured your template to display AdSense inside the posts.

If you can meet up with these two conditions, then you should be expecting to see AdSense ads displaying on your mobile version of your blog.

I believe this post will definitely go a long to help those who want to display their AdSense ads on their blogger mobile view. If you have any question or observation concerning this post/ method, kindly do that in the comment section.

Please don’t forget to share this post with your friends on social media.
