BlackBerry looks to be getting ready to bring the next smartphone to the market this year. the company launched the BlackBerry KEYone Athena last year with a price tag of Rs 39,990.
The new smartphone by BlackBerry, noticed on Chinese regulator website TENAA looks the same as 2017’s KEYone. The smartphone comes with a display and a keyboard at the bottom of the screen. in step with a report on GSMArena, the smartphone is codenamed “Athena” and can seemingly launch as the KEYewo or the KEYone (2018) this year.
The KEYone and also the Athena are visually similar. Most notably, the KEYone’s camera ring is gone, replaced by a more acquainted twin camera bump that’s currently common on most phones these days. the images show one flash beside the dual-camera and the the} keyboard of the Athena also looks redesigned in comparison to the KEYone. the images show that the plastic or rubberised pattern seen on the rear side of the smartphone extends until the top. The front speaker grill also seems to have been redesigned slightly.
The display looks acquainted, with the previous phone’s 3:2 aspect ratio. The 3.5 millimetre headphone jack remains, as will the USB-C port. The BlackBerry Athena bears a model number BBF100-4 that is comparable as the model number of KEYone BBB100-X.
