RANK- HIGH- IN- GOOGLE- SEARCH

During the course of been away for a while, I learnt so many things and part of which I’m about to share with you. Ranking high in Google has been the prior of all webmasters and bloggers. There is always that joy when a friend of yours called you to tell you that he/she saw your blog among the first 10 searches on the web.

Therefore, have you searched so much on how to rank high in Google search and you couldn’t get? Then you are on the right blog. Like seriously I won’t be taking much of your time, we’ll just go straight to “ranking high in Google” and also part of what we’ll be discussing will be on submission of your blogs to search engines, and you can open this on another tab HERE. Ranking high in Google search doesn’t take much process when done appropriately. So therefore, sit back and enjoy the ride.

HOW TO RANK HIGH IN GOOGLE SEARCH

The first we’ll be talking about here is:

  1. DO YOUR KEYWORD RESEARCH

There is no escape route to this. If you want to get ranked on google search by readers or surfers, then you need to make use of keywords because these are guidelines to what people wants on the internet.

Perhaps there was a time a write out of inspiration like I’m doing, but I bet you its keyword tight. The simple truth is that when you write posts without keywords, people can only see you when you share on social medias, but might take a very long time for Google to recognize it and fixed it as a keyword to the blog.

I never said writing with inspiration is bad, but I’m only trying to say that when you get that inspirational “post tittle”, like I often do, try and use GOOGLE KEYWORD PLANNER and see if people also search keywords like that, and if Google keyword planner could not find the word, it will automatically give you related keyword and which invariably mean that is what people search for.

  2. FIX YOUR KEYWORDS SMARTLY IN YOUR POST

“Smile”. Are you aware that it’s not just about using keywords, but about how well you fix them to the post you want to publish.

There was a time I was having serious issues with getting ranked on my blog, then I discussed with a blogger friend, and he told me this I’m about to put down.

I believe this is applicable to all platform of blogging anyway, but for those that use blogger blog; here this. For you to rank high in google search, then you need to make your keywords appear in the following section of your post.

a. Your keyword should appear in the post tittle

b. The first paragraph of the post, and at least 3-5 keywords and also bolded.
 c. Your permalink should also have your keyword. If you don’t know what permalinks is, then read it HERE.
d. There is always a description box that appears with your post title in google search.

Your keyword for that particular post must also reflect in there before you publish.

Whoa! I heard someone said?

3. SUBMIT YOUR BLOG TO SEARCH ENGINES

Do you have to wait for Google crawlers to come over to your blog before you get notice by surfers? Hell NO. The fastest way to submit your blog/post to Google is found HERE.

Do you know millions of people publish every day and only few of them knew that one can submit his/her post to Google in less than 1 minute. The beauty of ranking high is Google search is for you to get your post index very fast on Google.

At times it takes more than 3 days before Google could index one’s post, and we aren’t patient to that extent because we want our post to be ranked in Google search.

  4. SHARE ON BLOG COMMUNITIES/DIRECTORIES

This two means I mention above has been given a strong mandate to activate post indexing and generate serious traffic to a blog. Blog communities like Blog engage, dosplash, bizsugar etc.

To my best of ability, I think I joined up to 30 blog communities that I always share my post immediately I publish the articles. Sharing on blog community not only give your blog visibility, but also get noticed and also traffic will be added.

  5. SHARE YOUR POST ON SOCIAL MEDIAS

Believe it or not, social media has proven to be a huge success when it comes to blog visibility and traffic.

NB: do you know that the amount of traffic a post generates also determine how high is ranked on Google? That’s a hint anyway.

A very good deal to do when you share on social media is to use harsh tag with your keywords and share on many groups.

There is no doubt; this post has helped you a lot. I believe this above points has really gone a long way to solve your challenges with ranking your post high in Google search.

Please before you leave this page, kindly share this post with your friends and followers on Facebook and on other social Medias. Also don’t forget to subscribe to our daily update. YOU ARE THE BEST.

5 Researched Reason Why Some Bloggers Refused to Guest Post

guest-post

The questions most of the time is; should we just be a part of a building team, write for pity or what we’ve always wanted is to get backlink that’ll increase our page rank? I believe these are some of the questions most bloggers battled with in their minds, which eventually which eventually keep some of them away from guest posting.

On several occasions, I have reads blogs that wrote on how to increase one’s blog visibility with guest posting, but with all this campaign and emphasis, some bloggers still never find their strength in guest posting on other blogs.

In case you never noticed, I did and for a while I’ve been researching on some reasons while you as a person refuse to guest post. Be it top level blog or average blogs.

Now let’s answer these following questions in our minds.
 Are you contented with your daily page views?
 Do you think you’ve built enough relationship with other bloggers?
 Is your blog exposed to the level you want?
 Have you gotten the page rank you desire?

Each and every one of these questions is turned to have one or two effects on your blogging strategy. I believe no blogger is never okay with his/her daily page views because we all want millions of daily visitors on our blog.

So also when we talk about page rank; we all want to have PR 9 like Facebook and Google right? And some newbies aspire to be like Darren Rowse, the CEO of problogger.net.

Therefore, if we all aspire and desire all these, then why have we all chose the part of not guest posting? The following reasons why some bloggers refuse to guest post was actually fetch out from interviews, and discussion I had with both new bloggers and few bloggers that already gotten their legs thatched in blogging industry.

The belief of having fewer articles on their blogs

Actually, I busted into laughter when I interacted with the first blogger. He told me that he only had few article published on his blog then why should he started writing for others. Hmm! That was how I exclaim when he finished talking.

Then I realize that this is actually the key reason why some bloggers are still not guest posting. They believe with the few articles they have in their archive, they’ll be publishing it one after the other and this can reduce their times of sitting down and writing every time.

More grease to the elbow of a young man, Adetechblog. He had few post on his blog, and he never consider this first point as a way to pull him off from guest posting, because he knows the efficacy of guest posting. My advice for you is to start guest posting on top blogs today if you’ve not started. Because there is more to it than what you see.

Fear of Rejection

I do tell people that “you cannot know what you can do, unless you try them”. Trying and self-belief is one of the key to success in life. You don’t have to take up fear, all because you want to guest post. Though some bloggers, especially the newbies are willing to be a guest blogger, but they are scared because they might be rejected by the top bloggers, all because they are not sure of their competency when it comes to writing. You need to keep trying until you get there, and don’t forget that practice makes perfection. Therefore keep on writing.

Time Schedule

I met with some bloggers and they said most times they find it difficult to update their blog because of time factor, therefore I can’t just guest post. I believe with good planning strategy, things can be done effectively where by your work will not be affected by your blogging.

Then if we are to follow this point, then everybody should be busy. But we still have some people that create time, out of no time to do what they love. I personally have passion for writing and blogging; therefore I have my personal time table which I follow every day. I think you should implement that too.

Ignorance

I need to tell you that some people are totally ignorant of guest posting and also the benefit attached to it. Most especially those bloggers that are not in blogging niche.

I think people needs to be told about the benefits of guest posting, because we have loads of benefits and advantages that you stand to gain from guest posting. Especially when you guest post on top blogs in your niche and which have high page rank.

Some of the benefits of guest posting are:
Increase in daily traffic
Blog exposure
You’ll have more subscribers
 Your backlink will increase
Then you’ll build a good relationship with top bloggers.

Lack of Direction

This point is also very vital in that most bloggers lack the direction on how to go about guest posting. I’m sure most blogs that does guest post have a page on their blog that gives the guideline on how you can go about guest posting.

Therefore, when you’ve gotten a top blog you’ll like to guest post for, read their likes and dislikes before you proceed in submitting your article to such blog. I believe I’m in line with the reasons why you decided not to guest post? Therefore, take it as a must today and start guest posting.

If you find this article informative, endeavor to share this post with your friends on Facebook  twitter etc. Always come back to read. It’s all about you.

1. Create a gmail account:

The first thing for you to do in getting started is to create an account on gmail, and those that already have an account there can possibly go to blogger.com to create a new blog there.

gmail-account

2.Create a Blogger account to get started.

Before signing up with Blogger, you need login information (a username and password). If you have an account with one of Google’s services, such as Gmail, you can log in to Blogger by using that account information. I

f you don’t have a Google account, you get one when you sign up with Blogger. If you started an account with Blogger before Google acquired it back in 2002, click the Claim Your Old Blogger Account link at the top of the Blogger home page.

3.Name your blog.

Now it is the best time to think of a name that is search engine friendly. I’ll advice you to give a lot of thought on getting an attractive name for your subdomain. Most important, names that can suit well to the niche you want to start blogging on. For instance, like myself now, my blog name is yourblogcoach; I chose this because I wanted to teach new bloggers and others the secret behind blogging. So it’s about teaching.

4.Choose a template for your blog.

There are lots of free templates you can chose from blogger’s archive for your new blog. This template determines how your blog look and how the elements are laid.

Looking at mine own template now, it’s a blogger template and you can see how cool and calm the look is? Therefore my advice for you is to choose a template that will be search engine and user friendly. An advantage in blogger platform is that you can always change the template later, whenever you see anyone that pleases you.

  5. Start Blogging

Now this is where we start. The question is after creating your blog, what next? I actually wrote an article on this point few weeks ago, and I’ll like you to read it. The big game is when you’ve set up your blog, what and what are you supposed to do? These are what you will find in this post.

But to give you a green light, I think getting a high quality content published should be a priority. Why did I mention high quality? I mean a self -made article that will introduce visitors and readers to your new blog. You’ll tell them what you are about to start on the blog and you vision in the next few years. Now read what next, after creating a blog?

What is Blogging?

what+is+blogging

I believe little is the knowledge that people know about blogging. People have really misunderstood blogging for money making, seeing people  making  a huge amount of money by blogging professionally, and thinking that blogging is a good way to make money.

Only to get themselves disappointed because they did not understand what blogging is all about. Blogging is not about making or earning money, though it could be bonus to it, but not primarily the means of making money online. It’s is about being social, having fun, building networks, sharing your thoughts and helping others.

Few years ago, i was researching on blogging and i found this little acronym on blog that will help you to remember what blogging is all about. It’s simple and straight forward, and i so much believe you are going to love it.

B – Be friend. Get to know people. Make friends. Build up relationships. If no one reads your blog it’s just internet litter clogging up the cyber highway. Building friends and relationships is a top strategy for your blog.

Having loyal supporters and readers will not only bring traffic but also be self promoting. After all Blogging does fall into the Social Media category. The emphasis being on Social. Too many people just want to make money, or use blogging as a form of free advertising. Visit other blogs. promote and comment on their blogs.

L – Learn. Don’t think you know everything because you don’t. Want your blog to succeed you have to learn. Learn from the best. Find other bloggers in your niche and learn from them. read their blogs, devour their knowledge, then apply that to your own blog..

O – Officious. Be an official, an authority in your chosen niche. Become a guru. Build up credibility. This will take time, but if you have the patience it will pay off. It also takes commitment. You cannot become a recognized guru in your market by hit and miss. You have to be dedicated in what you do. You also have to love what you do.

G – Give. Blogging and social networking is all about giving rather than taking. If you are into blogging to see what you can get out of it, e.g. how many sales, how much money, etc, then you have missed the boat. Blogging is all about giving to others.

Giving freely of your knowledge, giving freebies that will help others. Giving time. Guest posting on other blogs.

Upload pictures and multimedia:

This is also one of the great features we found on a blog. Then ability to upload either picture or video. You hard see a blog who doesn’t give room for uploading of images to your post. Some platform gave the room for uploading of video and audio podcasts. The very interesting thing here is that most people don’t usually have video in a web ready, because of the huge weight of sure video.

Also Read:7 ways to Make People Comment on your Blog

For the video uploading, it’s very rare because it take a huge spending of money for the space to host the video and also the bandwith that gave people the opportunity to watch it. That is very advisable to post such video on YouTube or Vimeo and get their embed labels in to your blog for easy access by your readers, quick and at no cost for both parties.

Your Blog Layout :

We have diverse ways in which you can tune your blog layout. For example, I just changed my popular post label from the bottom of the blog to the side widget. I thought it’s very necessary for my visitors and readers to benefit from what others from search engines are benefiting.

Moreover, tools vary in diverse in which you want to configure the look of your blog, and the methods on which they offer to do it. Interesting story here is that most blogs are built on themes designs that can be installed and also modified to your own taste.

Display posts & comments Box:

I want you to know that blog appearances are becoming more advanced on the daily basis. Blogger platform have makes it very easy for readers to view your blog and also drop their comments. There is also a latest comment box in which it user friendly and backlink bound. I added a commentluv comment box to my my blog from intensedebate which has really been helping a very good interactivity between myself and my readers. It is optimized and easy to navigate.

  Moderate:

You will want to remove some of comments left by readers and you will eventually have to fight comment spam. Different platforms provide varying degrees of spam protection and moderation features to weed out unwanted contributions.

  Publish RSS feeds:

RSS feeds has since the era of time been a great support in blogging. It’s almost that without without RSS feed, blogging would have been limited. You understand now. I bet you that blogger does not have answers to all blogger’s issue. And not every blogging tools offers the same degree of support, which means you have to look elsewhere for support. Probably elsewhere like forums or blog community, where you can find answers to your questions.

Get A Host For Your Blog

This is one of the very important features of a blog and I’m particularly directing this last point to the new bloggers. We have some blogging softwares that live on your server while others are hosted by the software providers.

A very good example of this is wordpress which is hosted by wordpress.org which is very easy to download and install on it own server/hosting account. These are some of the basic blogging features that pretty much all blogs provide. Next time I will describe another set of features that you may not know about but will definitely be useful to maintain your blog.
